Brian Hill is a master automotive upholsterer with over 25 years of hands-on experience and a reputation for precision, luxury, and craftsmanship. As the owner of Ultra Threads, he has built a brand known for high-end custom interiors that blend style, comfort, and durability.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Brian started his career working with custom audio systems before discovering his true passion—interior design and upholstery. Completely self-taught, he refined his craft over decades, becoming one of the most trusted names in the region.
In 2013, Brian launched Ultra Threads after serving as an operations manager for a major leather and aftermarket accessories company. Since then, his portfolio has ranged from award-winning classics like a 1968 Maserati Ghibli to fully restored vintage builds and modern custom interiors.
Today, Ultra Threads is expanding beyond classic cars and trucks into luxury coach and bus interiors, bringing the same level of detail, comfort, and custom craftsmanship to larger-scale projects.
Brian approaches every project as a true artist—combining materials, textures, and vision to create interiors that reflect each client’s personality. Whether it’s a show car, daily driver, or luxury coach, his goal is simple: deliver a one-of-a-kind interior built to stand out.
Brian “Bear” Hill represents the next generation of craftsmanship at Ultra Threads. Having grown up around the automotive industry alongside his father, Bear developed an early appreciation for custom work, attention to detail, and the pride that comes with building something by hand.
Over the past few years, Bear has worked side-by-side with Brian Hill, quickly learning and refining the art of automotive upholstery. His natural ability and strong work ethic have allowed him to pick up advanced techniques and develop his own approach to the craft.
